The meets are so long. We lucked out and the events that our kids chose were some of the first. Jonah came in 1st place in his heat for the 50m, and Olivia ran the 100m.
It was fun to see them try new things!

Track and Field
This month we tried out Track and Field. We had fun learning about how the events work and the kids had the chance to try out all sorts of options, relays, sprints, long jump, high jump and shot put. While Owen was at Astronaut Training Camp, Jonah and Olivia had their first track meet.
The meets are so long. We lucked out and the events that our kids chose were some of the first. Jonah came in 1st place in his heat for the 50m, and Olivia ran the 100m.
They both did long jump and shot put.
It was fun to see them try new things!
