One of our friends works with the Refugee outreach programs, so on occasion we get to participate in some really neat experiences, thanks to her involvement and her invitations. This Saturday we were able to go with our ward YM/YW to volunteer at a Refugee Farmer's Market. They needed our help in finding fun things for kids to do while their parents worked or shopped at the market.
We helped by providing face painting, sno cones, a bounce house and a few other games.
The sno cones were a huge hit.
The guy we rented the water slide for on Jonah's birthday generously donated this for us to use that day. People are so good.

The kids had fun and were able to experience new cultures and meet new people and do service. That's a win in my books.
