It
happened. Nate turned thirty.five. It was an exciting day for all of
us. Nate is fun to party with and fun to surprise. His birthday (as it
often does) fell on the Saturday of General Conference. Now, Nate is a
fan of General Conference, but 6 hours of church on your birthday can be
a bit...how do I say it...less than a party? He managed to squeeze in
some fun between sessions though. The kids and I made a special
breakfast for him and wrapped up his presents while he was out for a run
that morning. Breakfast Cake and eggs. Owen put the candles on the
cake. The number 3 and then 5 candles. Clever little guy.

We
watched a lot of conference. It was great...but that is another post.
We took him out to dinner and we made him a PB cup cheesecake for
dessert. :)

On
Sunday we partied with the Puzeys and my parents (after watching more
conference...which again...was fantastic!). They showered him with gift
cards and Handerpants. That's right. I said Handerpants. And if you
don't have a pair you really, really must get some because they are the
funniest things ever!

Rockin' the Handerpants...
