Walking
That Owen is now walking? He decided one day about 2 weeks ago that he wanted to walk. It was as simple as that. Since then he’s been delighting himself (and his parents) with his darling little strut. We just love to watch him toddle around the house. I can’t believe how quickly he is growing and changing. We love our little man.

1st Shiner
Last Sunday in nursery, Owen took a book to the eye when one of the kids in the junior nursery (where Nate and I are “teachers”) tried to get it out of his hands. Not sure exactly how it happened, but here is the result: our first shiner. Just in time for family photos too...

Thanksgiving Turkey Shoot
A favorite Atlanta tradition for the Anderson’s is going up to the Puzey’s for the Thanksgiving Turkey Shoot! The dads all dress up like turkeys, and the kids dress like pilgrims and indians and shoot the turkeys with paintball guns. It is quite a riot! We had a lot of fun this year. Our turkeys were Doug, Jason and Nate (hard to tell who’s who in a cardboard box and a beak!). The Puzey’s are so creative in their efforts to make holidays special and memorable. (I think the welts and bruises on each of our “turkeys” will help them remember for quite a while...) We had a really great time!

Baby Boy in a Bucket
I tried to take some photos of Owen for a Thanksgiving card. The idea was to have him in this bucket with his apple hat that my mom made. If you have seen any of my previous posts, you are likely aware that Owen is not fond of hats. You can see this in the photos below as well! We are both so persistent in our wishes.

A Couple of Cards
Another fun Puzey moment: building a house of cards. Little did I know that Zac and Nate were such experts at building a house of cards. The “house” ended up being several stories (almost 20!) by the time they finished. The true test of quality workmanship is how much stuff it can hold on top (see photo). Maybe one day they’ll take this show on the road, but for now, you’ll just have to enjoy the photos.
Backyard Fun
Owen and I spent the day up at the Puzeys last week and here are a few shots of the kids playing in the backyard. Owen LOVES to play with other kids and fits nicely into the Puzey lineup. Zac hooked up the wagon to the Jeep and we strapped Owen in. He really seemed to enjoy it, so much so that he didn’t have time to look at me for any photos.
