There are lots of fun little things I want to remember about June.
First, Jonah was able to go to Birthday Table at school. They get a little box of Chick-fil-A nuggets and a cupcake. Then they take their picture with the cow and Mrs. Mulqueen, our principal. They write what they want for their birthday on the photos too. Such a cute thing and Jonah was so excited about it.
For dinner one Friday night we made our own flatbread pizzas. Olivia, who is very much into cats right now, made herself a kitty pizza. And then texted a photo of it to her dad. So cute!
I bought a few things for our patio so we could sit outside and enjoy our evenings back there.
Owen had his Safety Patrol end of year assembly. He was a team captain for the year. And Mrs. McRoberts, who was the teacher over Safety Patrol went on and on about how amazing, responsible and good Owen is. It made my heart burst with joy and it made me cry. At that same assembly another of the 5th grade teachers came up to me and gushed about Owen. She also told me that teachers had selected him to be a Student Body Officer at Albion next year. It's a teacher appointed position and they were all absolutely positive that Owen would do a great job. It was so awesome to hear. More tears, from me. Love this kid!
Owen and Olivia had another piano recital. Their teacher, Shannon Reynolds, is just so wonderful and they love her. They both did a great job.
Owen's teacher has an Instagram account and I always save the ones with my kids in them. Here are a few from this month.
While we were at the Anderson Family Reunion in St. George, Nate and Owen were home because Owen had Scout Camp at Camp Tracy. They texted us this photo of them eating dinner at one of their favorite places, Costco.
We stopped by the library one day and Jonah saw this little board and wanted me to take his picture. I love that cute little mug.
Jonah received a birthday card in the mail from Grandma & Grandpa Johannesen with $10 in it for him to go pick out his own gift. That money was burning a hole in his pocket, so we went to Targtet and he picked out these fun toys. A fidget spinner that lights up, a Star Wars Lego set, and peanut M&Ms.
These 3 lucky kids and I met Nate for lunch at Cafe Rio one day.
We spent a fun day playing at the Puzey's house.
Kate took these cute pics with Charlotte.
And I took this cute one of Owen and Thomas.
And we made S'mores with cookies. S'mookies. Because why not?
Owen and Nate worked on a project in the back yard, as part of Owen's Family Life Merit Badge. They put in some stairs around the fire pit.
We stopped for ice cream on the way home from track practice one night.
We didn't do lunch dates with the kids this month because it's summer, but before school was out Charlotte, Nate and I went to lunch at Costco and she got talent fingers. Because, why not?
It was a full and fun month!

Lagoon Bounce Back Day
We used out Lagoon bounce back passes today before they expired. It was just our family this time (plus like a million other strangers) and we had so much fun. I let the older three kids go off on their own a little bit, which made me nervous, but they did great. They bounced back and forth between hanging out with Charlotte and I and going off to ride some of the bigger rides.
I was able to go on a few of our favorites while the big kids took turns staying with Charlotte. Tidal Wave and Rattle Snake Rapids are still our faves.
Jonah and Olivia love the swings.
And Charlotte loves all the little rides.
And enjoyed her stroller time too. Walking that much is just hard.

Day in the Uintas
This is one of our favorite days of summer. The day we head with friends up to the Uintas to play. We did this last year and looked forward to it again this year. We started out by hiking and playing up at Provo River Falls. This is such a fun place to scramble, climb and explore for the kids. The water is freezing cold, which is a nice break from the heat down in the valley.
Then we headed to Trial Lake for some kayaking, playing, more exploring and just playing with our friends.
Jonah and his little friends did so great in these kayaks. They were out paddling around for almost an hour.
I love the beautiful backdrop of the mountain.
There are some old historic cabins up there and an old dam to explore. We had a fantastic day up in the mountains.
When we got home the kids asked if they could start a fire and roast hot dogs and marshmallows, so the fun continued with some of our neighbors. We were dirty and smelly and ready for baths that night, but we had a lot of fun.
