Sandwich

As you know, Nate loves Tshirts. He found this one for Owen at threadless. If you ask him what it says, he’ll tell you:
“If you can read this, make me into a sandwich.”

We made a trip to the apple store a while ago to pick something up and while Nate was talking to the sales person, the kids and I sat down at the kid’s computer station and had fun. I took these (lousy) pictures with my phone, but it gave me a chuckle to see them each sitting at their own computer. Olivia would NOT be moved from her little desk when we were finished.

Trip to Utah

Another highlight of the trip to Utah was visiting Logan and seeing Becky & Jason’s home. They have done some MAJOR remodeling and it was really fun to see all their progress. It looks amazing! We went for a hike around Tony (?) Lake. The kids loved it and it was fun to hike and splash and explore.

While in SLC we took a family pictures with all of Nate’s siblings and their kids. It was fun being able to see everyone and to have our kids play with their cousins.
Olivia loved playing with her little cousin Elanore and she still wanders around the house saying “Ella” sometimes. It was fun to watch them all play together and have fun. :) Too cute!

Barry & Krissie's Wedding

We were able to fly out to Utah this August for Barry & Krissie’s wedding. It was so fun to see everyone and so fun to go to a wedding.  The Sealing was beautiful. It is so much fun to go to someone else’s sealing, because you are actually aware of what is going on. :)
The reception was so, so cute. Their colors were bright and vibrant and it all came together beautifully. I wish I had a picture of everything. Congrats Barry & Krissie! We love you!

Kate's End of Chemo Party

To celebrate the end of Kate’s journey with Chemotherapy and Leukemia, the Hansen’s had an end-of-chemo celebration for her. It was so much fun and so sweet. None of my pictures turned out, except for this one, and one of Owen and Ava.
Jason and Carolyn each talked for a while about what it has been like for their family and then they gave Kate a necklace as a gift. It had a charm with her diagnosis date, one with the date of her last chemotherapy, and a charm that said survivor. What a strong, brave little girl. We love you Kate!
