Georgia Aquarium

Um...I don’t want to brag or anything but we have the worlds LARGEST aquarium here in Atlanta. So come and visit us! :) We took our kids last weekend for maybe the 3rd time. (it’s expensive). Our neighbor had generously given us some free tickets, so we couldn’t pass up on the opportunity! We snapped a few pictures of the kids. They had a great time. The best thing about free tickets? You don’t have to feel like you need to stay all day to get your money’s worth...we left after about 1.5 hours and it was just the right amount of time for the kids. There is a tank where you can touch stingrays and baby sharks. Owen wanted to touch them, but when they got close enough to touch, he just couldn’t bear to keep his hand in the water.

Richmond, Virginia

We took a little road trip to Richmond a few weeks ago. We had a great time. The drive wasn’t to bad and our kids did great. We visited with our friends the Thompson’s and the Bywater’s while we were there and it was so fun to catch up and to see everyone’s kids play so well together. We went to church on Sunday at the branch, which brought back a flood of memories! Sharon Udoh reached over my chair and promptly took Olivia from me and started snuggling her. It was funny. I can’t believe we’ve been gone for over 5 years! That’s nuts! Time really does fly, but with our friends in Richmond we can pick up where we left off. They are just like family. :)
The only pictures I have are from Sunday afternoon. We took a walk around Belle’s Island and let the kids throw rocks in the river. It was great! It is always so nice to get away, even just for a few days!
