This month was Higher Education week at school and the kids had the opportunity to think about what they'd like to do when they grow up. Owen wants to be an architect.
And Olivia wants to be a teacher. I just love these drawings they did. Nate made them some "Kooky Comics" like he had when he was a kid. They traced these and I think they turned out great!
The majority of the art coming home right now is from our 1st grader, Jonah. And I love all that he does. So cute!

November Little Things
So many little things. This bar at Granite Park is for tying up horses, but the kids love to climb and swing on it during Olivia's soccer practice.
I'm not even sure what these two ate, but it looks delicious.
Olivia and her friend, Olivia Moll, love to craft. Here each they painted and decorated a letter O to decorate their rooms.
Owen's teacher has an Instagram account and I love seeing these updates during the school week.
A friend gave us this cute Barbie car and the kids have been loving it.
At Granite, we had our 40th Birthday party assembly. This year I am PTA president and so I get to be in on all the fun!
We went to the park one Sunday afternoon to enjoy the fleeting warm weather.
Here's our lunch date with Owen. He loves a Cafe Rio salad. We love this one on one time with the kids to get to talk to them and focus on them more.
I love how Olivia does her spelling each night. Rainbows and little girls just go together.
Charlotte and I went to a PTA meeting and the school had this awesome fish tank with Nemo and Dori! Charlotte was mesmerized.
More time at the park while the weather is still good. Charlotte looks so little with her scooter. Cute girl. This was literally taken the day before the next picture.
Sunny one day, and snowy the next. That is fall (and spring) in Utah!
Owen had a cool opportunity to go to an Author event sponsored by our County Library System. Brandon Mull is one of Owen's favorite authors. He put on a great presentation and then signed books. Owen was really excited to be able to meet him and get his latest book too. This kid loves to read. He devours enormous books in just days.
Not sure why I took this one, but this sweet girl is my constant side-kick and so patient with all the running around we do!
Our cousin Claire turned 1 and we went to her birthday party. Aunt Emily made the cutest pinata and the kids had a lot of fun breaking it open. We sure love living near family!
For FHE one Sunday after church we wrote little Gratitude Post Cards to our neighbors and dropped them off anonymously with a plate of cookies.
We try to focus on Gratitude in November and it helps us so much to realize all the many wonderful blessings Heavenly Father has given us.

Thanksgiving Festivities
Thankgiving this year was great. Jonah's class had a Thanksgiving feast and Charlotte and I were able to attend and help out. These kids are so sweet and cute. They had studied about Thanksgiving this month and it was really cute to see them enjoy their little feast.
Charlotte had her own little spot at the table too. They are so sweet to always include her. Here is their feast: popcorn, candy corn, pretzels, raisins and a sliver of pumpkin pie.
Then they sang some fun Thanksgiving Songs. The funniest one was Albuquerque Turkey. I took a video of that one.
Thanksgiving morning we woke up to the first snow of the season. It looked so pretty. We watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade for a bit, then the kids went outside while food prep commenced. Each year we bring sweet potato casserole, real cranberry sauce, and homemade stuffing. Nate and I went running, in shifts, and then we headed over to Nana and Papa's house for dinner. It was a delicious meal and we enjoyed out time with family. Even though we forgot to take pictures...

Donuts for Art
We have a new art teacher at Granite and she is just awesome. Every month or so she awards one class who has done a great job listening and focusing in art class. This month Olivia's class was chosen. Their art was posted at CREATE, a fun design-your-own donut shop. And she received a certificate for a free donut.
Charlotte and Olivia and I headed to CREATE to check it out.
She chose chocolate frosting with rainbow sprinkles and marshmallows. Yum.

Olivia's Soccer Team
Look at that sweet little girl. She has had a great soccer season. We have been playing with the same team since we moved to Utah, and these girls are progressing every season. Her dad helps coach and they have a great time!
Look at these cute girls! So tough and awesome. We love her soccer team!
