Larrabee, Lang's and Little Mountain

Stopping at Larrabee is one a must when we visit Washington. This is where Nate proposed. So it holds a special place in our hearts and it's something we love to share with the kids.
Here's a shot of the 2 of us in the place this whole crazy, wonderful life began for our family. Almost 17 years ago!

We walk under the train tracks to get down to the beach, which we all think is just cool. Once a train went by as we were walking through.

We love heading down to the beach and checking out the tide pools. Olivia is the bravest. She will touch and pick up anything.

The rocky cliffs right by the beach are so fun to climb and explore.

Jonah is our most adventurous climber. In rubber boots no less. He's really good.

After spending time at the beach, we stopped by a cute little bakery to try a cinnamon roll.
I mean look how cool this sign is.

After our fun morning at Larrabee, Olivia took off with Melissa and PK to Lang's Pony Farm for a trail ride and to watch Claire graduate from her week at pony camp.

While they were at pony camp, a group of us hiked up Little Mountain to take in the views of Skagit Valley from up there.

Jonah, ever climbing.

That night we went back to Grandma and Grandpa Johannesen's house for dinner. Heather came over and cut our hair. Olivia, Charlotte and I all got our hair cut.

Another fantastic and full day!
