Owen started 6th grade this year, which in our school district is MIDDLE SCHOOL (insert breaking mother's heart here). He was very excited and also nervous about this new experience, but he handled it like a champ, as always.
The 6th graders start a day earlier than everyone else, so they can get used to the school, figure out their lockers and find their way to their classes without the hordes of upperclassmen around. He had a great first day and is looking forward to his first year of middle school. He is a Student Body Officer this year, which will add to his experience there as well. Look at him just rocking the locker! I'm so proud.
Look at that awesome kid. We sure love our Owen!
