PTA White Ribbon Week

This year I have been serving as the PTA president at our elementary school. It has been such a great experience and even thought it is a lot of work, I'm grateful for the opportunity to do it. I've been able to get to know so many great people and see so many wonderful things about our school.

In March we did White Ribbon Week for the school, which is safety in media use. It was teaching the kids about how they have the power to choose to use technology for good things and turn off anything that's not good.

I loved the posters the kids all signed as they took the "I've got the Power" pledge.

And each classroom decorated these super heroes too.

I love to be up at the school with my kids and get to see what they are experiencing. And to be a part of such a great PTA.
