Spring Break: Day 1

This year we had quite a fun adventure for Spring Break! We went to California and Disneyland. We packed up our car and drove on Saturday. We stopped in Scipio, Utah at this quirkly little gas station that has a miniature zoo, of sorts. They have an odd assortment of animals there, including a camel, a peacock, turkeys and chickens, emus and zonkeys (half zebra, half donkey). It was a quick, fun way to stretch our legs and break up our trip.

Then we headed back on the road again and stopped for lunch in St. George, Utah. We found a great park there and had a picnic lunch and let the kids run and play.

Then we piled everyone back into the car and headed to Lori's house in Las Vegas. We arrived and took the kids to another park to play. Then we had pizza for dinner and got everyone settled in to bed. Lori and Marv stayed up for a bit to chat with us.
