2: Gingerbread House

If it’s not obvious by now, I am trying to take a picture each day to document our advent this year. So this is Gingerbread House day. I had to let go of my illusions of control, yet again, in order for this to be a fun event for everyone. I just put the icing on the house and let the kids go for it and put the candy anywhere they liked. It turned out really cute and it’s now the centerpiece on our kitchen table.
