There are many reasons why. I’ll share a few. First of all I have noticed that holidays are just so much fun with kids. Here is a walk down memory lane...
Valentine’s Day 2005: we announced the arrival of Owen :)
Valentine’s Day 2006: Owen’s first valentine’s day. He is so tiny. We started our tradition of making pink heart-shaped pancakes for breakfast.
Valentine’s Day 2007: we started our tradition of making heart-shaped sugar cookies. one thing I love to do is make sugar cookies and holidays like valentine’s day are the perfect time to do just that.
We sent out this Valentine:
Valentine’s Day 2008: we announced the arrival of Olivia earlier in 2007 with this post, and then took a picture of her in the onesie for valentines day. Owen helped me decorate the sugar cookies. :)
Valentine’s Day 2009: we started our tradition of our “things we LOVE about you” lists for each family member (however the picture below is from THIS year). we write one thing down each day for each member in our family. I don’t have any pictures of the kids on Valentine’s Day, but here is a picture of the kids a few days later...
Valentine’s Day 2010: keeping with our (now) tradition of baby announcements and valentine’s day we announce the arrival of baby #3. due to arrive June 3rd.
PS....it’s a boy. :)
