This year we had a neighborhood easter party on Saturday, hosted by the Links. They had an easter egg hunt, and the easter bunny appeared (my kids did not want to touch that life-sized bunny with a 10 foot pole!), and a yummy lunch (coconut bunny cake and all).
The next morning we let them open their easter baskets. This was the first time Olivia really enjoyed Easter. If you recall last year, she cried most of the time... After church we had an easter dinner at the Puzey’s house with some friends. Cheryl and I are trying to come up with our favorite (perfected over time) holiday meals. This time we tried Salmon again, and it turned out really well. I love making traditions and this easter was wonderful.
I love easter and the opportunity we have to focus on hope. Hope through the Savior’s atonement. I feel blessed to have the gospel and my family encouraging me each day, especially on easter.
