In the six years Nate and I have lived here in Atlanta, it has snowed a grand total of 3 times. This Sunday was the 3rd, and the most snow we’ve seen here (3 inches!). Owen immediately asked me where his snow pants were (ummmm....) and within 10 minutes of it starting to snow, Owen asked if we could:
1. build a snowman
2. throw snowballs
3. go sledding
4. make snow angels
We had to be a little bit patient, but we did go outside and throw snowballs and build a micro snowman (we don’t own any sleds, naturally).
We had a great time!
Another nice thing about a snow day ...is snuggling. And Olivia is great at that. She and I bundled up on the couch (our electricity went out for about an hour) with blankets. Owen was unaffected by the cold, and wanted to wear his new favorite outfit (underwear only...sometimes a shirt too) and go chugging. I love that he lays down and watches his trains go by.
